  41. <p align="left">Ricochet is a browser-based thin-client application aimed at
  42. providing a short-term tactical solution for establishing KofaxÆs presence and
  43. support in the MFP marketplace.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </span>Ricochet
  44. allows users to import content created on MFPs into Ascent Capture for
  45. processing.<span style="mso-spacerun:
  46. yes">  </span>Ricochet is a document-centric application that allows users
  47. to manually index documents created on MFPs from a web browser.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> 
  48. </span>This is accomplished by creating a cover sheet that contains all the
  49. necessary information required by Ascent to process the document.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> 
  50. </span>This cover sheet precedes the document and is scanned as part of the
  51. document. There is an intermediary application that is part of Coversheet that
  52. interprets the cover sheet and preprocesses the document for Ascent Capture. The
  53. preprocessed document is brought into Ascent Capture for processing using
  54. CoversheetÆs Image Importer.</p>

  59. <p align="left">When you browse the coversheet website, the browser will display
  60. default window and utility window. There is a list of document type on the
  61. utility window. It's a combination of the Batch Class Name, the Document Class
  62. Name and the Form Type Name. </p>

  66.     a document type of the list for continuing. After selecting a document type,
  67.     the utility window will be expanded. It will contains all index fields of
  68.     the selected document type. If a index field is required, the index filed
  69.     label has been finished by "<font color="#FF0000">*</font>"
  70.     character. The length of each index field is fixed by length of field types.

  74.     desired document type, you must enter values of index fields and value of
  75.     document name (optional).</li>

  79.     submit information.</li>

  83.     coversheet for continuing.</li>
